vice president us risk & compliance chief of staff
the chief of staff team supports chief risk officers and chief compliance officers across an array of activities including managing day to day business management requirements.
key focus areas
- people strategy and performance management
- organizational design, discreet and non-transformation/strategic projects
- facilitate strategic decisions and mediate across senior stakeholders within global business (gb), global functions (gf) and digital business services (dbs), mitigating risks and issues as they arise
- interface with group risk & compliance on a variety of issues and workstreams
main responsibilities
- financial cost control and planning
- risks and control oversight
- oversee and manage internal governance and program frameworks
- develop/manage the function's performance scorecards
- support/implement the continuing development or evolution of the function's operating model and organizational design
requirements
- highly motivated and organized self-starter with proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams
- proven written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
- strong governance and other business management capabilities
- able to present compelling arguments and insight to management to support business decisionsvery good analytical and presentation skills
- ability to build effective connections, work collaboratively with multiple teams and influence outcomes
- ability to distil data and other information into clear narratives, themes and issues
- ability to multi-task well under pressure and times of ambiguity
- highly organized with systematic approach to execution
- proven ability to articulate complex issues concisely and in clear language
- clear record of managing and delivering high number of competing tasks/work streams in high pressured environment
- track record in working/collaborating with very senior stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes
- have strong knowledge in change and performance improvement methodologies
- strong english-speaking and writing skills
