What you will do: the production planner is responsible for managing the finished goods, production planning, and inventory management activities. This includes overseeing these processes for assigned finished goods and raw materials at the plant while ensuring achievement of customer service goals and minimizing operating costs. Key responsibilities: schedule assigned production lines for finished goods inventory to meet demand and maintain a high level of service. Deploy all finished goods in the plant's network to support assigned assembly line(s). Partner with material planners and coordinators to establish first production runs for innovation and manage inventory to minimize waste. Monitor and track customer orders, providing timely reports on overdue items by business segment. Communicate shortages to relevant stakeholders while maintaining stock transfer orders (stos) for sub-assemblies. Manage work orders and maintain stos for product business units (pbus), ensuring accurate delivery dates. What we look for: bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, or equivalent experience. Understanding of mrp systems. Advanced excel skills. Minimum of two years experience in planning within a manufacturing environment. Ability to communicate effectively in english.
