as business controller for vehicle aftermarket latin america, you will have a full value chain position where you'll be the co-driver supporting manufacturing and sales operations in business decisions and driving continuous improvement.
*your day-to-day work*
- take responsibility for the full value chain of the vehicle aftermarket latin america business performance, demonstrating a strong curiosity to understand every aspect of the business.
- drive actual results for the p&l & working capital to achieve/exceed plan, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure success.
- conduct product and customer mix analysis, sales analysis, and customer/channel profitability assessment, market performance evaluation, margin & cost analysis
- drive continuous improvement cost saving initiatives with the latin america management team and measures for year over year improvement, including optimization of working capital/inventory levels, fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
- be a proactive and challenging member of the vehicle aftermarket latin america team, showing courage in addressing issues and driving change.
- drive controlling processes: yearly planning process, quarterly forecasts, monthly close activities, regular pulse meetings, and transformation project meetings, ensuring a structured and results-oriented approach.
- perform yearly standard cost calculation and ensure that all financial and controlling matters, including reporting and accounting, are in line with skf and local legal requirements, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and care for accuracy in legal reporting and compliance.
- drive change within skf for continuously improving business support, digitalization, and challenge current processes, showing courage and a forward-thinking mindset.
- identify risks and opportunities and initiate proactive and corrective actions, demonstrating curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- identify/initiate actions to improve profitability (e.g., cost down initiatives, operations restructuring, financial analysis, and modeling), showing a strong business sense and determination.

- customer deal review and roi calculations, demonstrating a keen interest in understanding customer needs and market dynamics.

- you should have several years of controlling and reporting experience, preferably from both sales and manufacturing operations, showcasing your ability to handle diverse business environments.
