job description
* responsible for maintaining in initial conditions the equipment or mechanism in charge, through the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance plans and optimize equipment by applying re-engineering to improve mtbf, mttr and tta, reducing downtime.
* responsible for managing the technicians in charge coordinating workload, escalation paths, development people according to technical skills and knowledges required.
* evaluation and search for the best spare parts, to guarantee the functionality, quality levels and productivity of the equipment in charge.
* suppliers’ development and evaluation.
* optimize production technologies in terms of quality, time and cost.
* participation in local and global technical communities that set the standards for continental.
execute work-related tasks and activities requested / assigned by the leader in charge.
* support on introduction production technologies according to cap0603076 and other specific procedures of continental automotive.
* lead and promote continuous improvement efforts for factory operation. Provide feedback to industrialization team regarding lessons learned and best practices for process system architecture.
* contribute to the accomplishment of operational kpis (oee, scrap, 0km)
* contribute 100% to the strategies established for the plant (for example, 5s, cim, strategic projects, etc.) and that are applied to the position
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in electronic, electrical or mechanical engineering
* 1 - 3 years of experience in the automotive or electronic industry in maintenance field.
* 3 - 5 years of experience in shop floor technical support.
