Location: mexico | dates: mid-july – end of july 2026 | contract: seasonal
where mentorship meets adventure
you are a natural leader, a confident diver, and someone who finds deep fulfillment in guiding others through transformative experiences. You don’t just want to travel; you want to be the person who helps young pioneers discover their own potential while exploring the vibrant ecosystems of mexico.
As a groups program assistant for our mexico under-18s program, you are the bridge between a student’s first international expedition and a lifelong passion for the planet. You aren’t just a staff member; you are the role model, the mentor, and the expert in the water who ensures every moment is safe, educational, and life-changing.
✨ why this role matters
the heart of the groups program is the participant experience. While our mexico program features a significant marine component, your primary mission is to support our younger travelers (under-18s) as they navigate the challenges and thrills of an international service program.
We need vibrant individuals brimming with energy - those who can maintain the "scientific rigor" of a survey one moment and facilitate a thought-provoking discussion on cultural differences the next. You are there to ensure our groups don't just see mexico; they understand it.
What you’ll be doing
the hero’s support: assist the senior program coordinator in running high-energy group programs, ensuring every participant feels supported and inspired.
Marine leadership: support marine project work and diving activities, providing supervision for participants as they explore the blue.
Mentorship & connection: manage groups on a day-to-day basis, acting as an enthusiastic role model and helping students work through homesickness or group dynamics.
Educational impact: deliver presentations and training sessions that bring our conservation and community projects to life.
Guardian of excellence: work with the team to ensure all health, safety, and operational protocols are followed to the highest standard.
