the fall creek commercial area manager role involves:
* collaborating with the commercial manager, grower support, customer service, and sekoya team to develop and execute the commercial strategy for all customers in the regions and globally.
* developing current and new business by establishing relationships in the industry, closing sales, and agreements.
* managing customer relationships, anticipating needs, and delivering solutions.
* developing and maintaining a rolling sales forecast for responsible accounts.
* providing input and recommendations for new products and varieties, contributing to their commercialization and acceptance.
* gathering information on competitors, customers, and trends to make market opportunity recommendations.
* collaborating with marketing on planning and executing marketing plans for targeted customers.
* coordinating regional commercial teams to improve customer success.
* scheduling and managing visits to the nursery from existing and prospective customers, including planning educational seminars.
* maintaining confidentiality on sensitive matters concerning the nursery.
to qualify, candidates should have:
* bachelor's degree in business, agribusiness, marketing, horticulture, or related field.
* at least 5 years of sales or sales management experience in agriculture.
* experience in market analysis, logistics, pricing, budgeting, and program management.
* proficiency in word, excel, powerpoint, and outlook.
* assertive communication skills in english and spanish.
