this is a senior business finance role that focuses on business performance and financial support for the organization.
the role involves providing full-scale financial support to enable business growth, including:
* financial planning and analysis
* aop (plan) development
* target setting and customer level detail analysis
* pricing, margin, and cost/investment management
main activities include:
* responsible for financial and strategic analysis covering retail banking products, wealth products, customer propositions, and distribution
* development of performance reporting to meet senior management needs at regional and individual country levels
* simplification, development, and enhancement of the mi framework aligned with group finance mi strategy
required skills and qualifications
to succeed in this role, you will need:
* analytical ability and strong financial modeling understanding
* +8 years of experience in a retail banking or consumer finance institution, in a finance area with high interaction with the business
* ability to effectively communicate with and influence all levels of management locally and in london headquarters
* demonstrable experience of building good mis and storytelling
* finance professional, with experience leading teams
* proven record of being able to work and deliver under pressure according to tight deadlines
