position objective: through active leadership, coordinatepreventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance andrefurbishment work on equipment and machinery throughout the plant,maintaining a high level of effectiveness in meeting departmentindicators.
ensure compliance by the department and its staff withindustrial safety and environmental guidelines, adherence toquality, health, and food safety standards, ensuring maximumproductivity and optimal costs.
skills / experience: - electronics,automotive, mechatronics, or similar engineering master is a plus.- minimum of 5 years' experience in similar positions, includingplc control systems (allen bradley, siemens) and industry 4.0,ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, cooling towers, watertreatment plants, air compressors, tpm, electrical, mechanical, andpneumatic engineering.
- knowledge of food industry regulatorysystems, iso, reading and interpreting diagrams, plans, andtechnical drawings.
- capex project planning and execution.

key responsibilities: - ensure compliancewith the maintenance and production program, guaranteeing productsafety and adhering to the gmps, processes, policies, andregulations established by the organization, as well as applicablestandards (sqf, haccp, etc.).
- comply with the establishedmaintenance program in a timely manner to avoid productiondowntime.
- ensure cleanliness in areas where maintenance work isperformed, ensuring that no particles or foreign materialsbelonging to the machine are left behind that could jeopardize foodsafety.
in the event of a failure, actions will be taken toeliminate the root causes.
- responsible for attracting,onboarding, managing, and developing associates based on safety,quality, service, and cost.
- responsible for participating in thedevelopment of the necessary materials for basic technical trainingfor operational and health personnel, such as operation andmaintenance manuals (lups), cils, lubrication charts, and centerline inspection, cleaning, and adjustments checklists.
-responsible for training maintenance (technicians), operational,and health personnel in accordance with the autonomous activityguidelines defined in richs' tpm strategy and conducting audits toensure proper execution of autonomous maintenance.
- ensures thatall operators, mechanics, electrical technicians, etc., areeffectively trained and that the release of equipment to customersis simple and efficient.
this includes all supporting documentation(e.g., operation manuals, layouts, technical manuals, maintenancesheets, spare parts lists, etc.).
- establishes shift roles andrecords incidents for the associates under their supervision.
-ensures that the preventive maintenance program is carried out in atimely manner, providing feedback to the maintenance planningdepartment on any modifications, abnormalities, frequency, etc.
-ensures that maintenance associates have closed notices andcorrective and preventive work orders in a timely manner.
-allocates resources so that any corrective deviations are resolvedimmediately to maintain line efficiency and meet productionschedules.
- ensure compliance with food safety and food safetyregulations in the area where you work, monitoring the proper useof work tools, uniforms, and gmps.

- ensure timely maintenance start-upand asset delivery.
- participate in engineering, r&d, andcontinuous improvement meetings for any new projects that need tobe carried out at the plant.
- ensure proper shift handover.
-provide personal protective equipment to the associates under theircare.
• manage and supervise the execution of special work(welding, confined spaces, work at heights, etc.)
and trainassociates prior to the execution of the work.
- maintain theworkshop in the safe and hygienic conditions required for theproper performance of their work based on the company'sproductivity programs (6s, kaizen, tpm, etc.).
- manage, control,and monitor maintenance expenses and the assigned budget for theirarea, and implement control plans in the event of deviations.
-manage their dashboard and conduct daily, weekly, and monthlyfollow-up with their team to establish corrective actions when theyare not met.
- enforce the health and safety policy andenvironmental policy and follow up on the company's establishedsafety, health, and environmental procedures.
- know, understand,and enforce the established guidelines for safe equipmentintervention (safe operation and maintenance methods).
- providefull support for the implementation of preventive and correctiveactions focused on safety.
- manage, through their participation inthe safety facilitators and promoters program.
- understand andapply the plant's environmental policy and environmental managementsystem.
- enforce the requirements for local environmental aspectswithin the scope of their responsibilities.
