Job Description
As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of regional accounts, driving revenue between $5M–$10M, and supporting long, consultative sales cycles. You’ll play a key role in both retaining existing business and developing new opportunities, with a focus on technical solutions and customer intimacy.
What You’ll Do
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across regional accounts
2. Deliver annual business results aligned with sales, margin, and volume growth targets
3. Lead technical demonstrations and problem-solving independently
4. Promote and sell H.B. Fuller’s innovative products and technologies
5. Identify and close new business opportunities while managing a healthy sales pipeline
6. Provide expert insights into customer needs, market trends, and competitive positioning
7. Ensure compliance with EHS standards and leverage tools like Salesforce to manage activities
8. Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions and long-term value
What We’re Looking For
9. 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a technical or industrial setting
10. Proven ability to manage complex accounts and long sales cycles (6–12 months)
11. Strong communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
12. Must be proficient in English
13. Bachelor’s degree in a technical, mechanical, marketing, or chemistry-related field preferred
14. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
15. Experience with Salesforce and value-based selling is a plus
