Strategic innovation manager

Role purpose

lead the evolution of innovation into a strategic growth engine by shaping and managing the input of the different measurement and performance tools, like the 3-year innovation pipeline, to translating data and insights into actionable strategic guidance, and enabling geographies to build and execute high-impact innovation portfolios.

through quantitative and qualitative analysis, this role evaluates opportunity size, consumer traction, market potential, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making and continuously refine strategy. Acting as a key connector between strategic planning, consumer insights, and execution, the role ensures effective portfolio management and drives sustainable growth, contributing to the ambition of doubling the company's growth over the next 10 years.

key responsibilities

1. Innovation pipeline orchestration

* define and evolve the global 3-year innovation pipeline.
* translate growth ambition into prioritized, actionable portfolios.
* ensure alignment between global strategy and local market needs.
* balance short-, mid-, and long-term innovation bets.

2. Strategic intelligence & insights integration

* synthesize data from multiple sources into clear strategic direction.
* develop frameworks to assess: market size and growth potential; consumer traction & competitive landscape.
* provide actionable guidelines to support decision-making across geographies.

3. Portfolio governance & value delivery

* establish portfolio management frameworks (prioritization, stage-gates, scaling decisions).
* support geographies in structuring and executing initiatives.
* track performance and ensure business impact (roi, growth, efficiency).
* drive focus by scaling high-potential initiatives and stopping low-value ones.

profile requirements

experience

* 8+ years in strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, or innovation leadership.
* experience in multi-market/global organizations preferred.
* track record of shaping strategy, influencing portfolios, and driving high-impact initiatives.

mindset & skills

* entrepreneurial / growth mindset: comfortable with ambiguity.
* strategic thinker & influencer: connects data, insights, and market trends to guide decisions.
* strong communicator: translates complex analysis into clear recommendations for diverse stakeholders. Fluent english is mandatory .
* data-savvy & analytical: able to seize opportunities, evaluate markets, and track portfolio performance.
