Record to report accountant (r2r)

requirements
* bachelor's degree in accounting
* 1–3 years of experience in record to report or general accounting
* intermediate english and spanish (advanced english preferred); basic portuguese is a plus
* strong knowledge of accounting principles (ifrs, us gaap, or local standards)
* experience in a shared services center (ssc) or multinational environment
* proficiency in microsoft excel and erp systems (sap, oracle, netsuite)
key responsibilities
* perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings in compliance with ifrs/gaap
* prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
* ensure accurate and timely posting of financial transactions
* support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
* analyze variances and provide explanations for management reporting
* identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
* collaborate cross-functionally with ap, ar, fp&a, and tax teams
