about the role
we’re seeking a highly organized and proactive inventory coordinator to help keep our operations running smoothly. In this role, you’ll ensure packaging materials are available where and when they’re needed, supporting production across multiple locations.
you’ll work closely with teams in both the u.s. and mexico, as well as suppliers and customs brokers, making this a fast-paced and collaborative role with real operational impact. This position is especially important during our peak mango season (february–august), where strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills are key to keeping operations on track.
key responsibilities
* monitor and manage packaging material inventory across multiple sites
* coordinate with u.s. purchasing teams and mexican operations to align supply with demand
* communicate with suppliers to adjust and track delivery schedules
* create, track, and follow up on purchase orders
* track shipments and confirm receipts using excel and inventory systems
* investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies (logistics, documentation, customs, receiving)
* maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system reliability
* coordinate inventory transfers between locations
* partner with customs brokers to track import/export shipments
* proactively identify risks, delays, and constraints—and communicate solutions
required qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in inventory, logistics, or supply chain coordination
* strong excel skills and experience with inventory/erp systems
* experience working with cross-border operations (u.s.–mexico) is a big plus
* highly organized with strong attention to detail
* excellent communication and coordination skills
* ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
