Role purpose
assist hsbc in building and maintaining a high‑quality, diverse talent pipeline for director‑level and other key positions, ensuring the organization is equipped to meet both current and future hiring needs.
Main activities

conduct global external talent research projects to support successful executive search execution and succession planning across hsbc.
Help future‑proof hsbc through the proactive development of internal and external talent pipelines of top‑performing and diverse director‑level talent, to meet current and future hiring needs.
Relentlessly focus on hsbcs internal talent marketplace, gaining and leveraging deep knowledge of hsbc's talent to help drive internal mobility, opportunity and retention.
Develop deep sector knowledge and provide strategic market and talent intelligence to the team and stakeholders on talent and competitor activity and how it relates to the strategic objectives of hsbc.
Support the global adoption and effective usage of a new ats and crm platform. Align to agreed sourcing methodology, workflows, and kpis to ensure consistency and quality across regions.
Ensure personal compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to the end‑to‑end hiring process, including data collection and storage.

Experience

technology adoption: ability to utilise ats and crm systems, getting the best out of the available technology.
Reporting & presentation: excellent report and presentation skills, including advanced powerpoint and excel. Proven ability to produce high‑quality reports and collateral.

Talent acquisition specialist – méxico
position objective: recruit and manage candidate talent pipelines across all levels to meet business hiring demands.
Requirements

bachelor's degree in business management or similar.
3+ years of experience in a similar position in an automotive environment.
Experience working in human resources.
Ms office proficient.
Problem‑solving skills.
Availability of travel 10%.
Schedule availability.
Fluent in english.

Responsibilities

recruit all‑levels positions.
Coordinate recruiting and hiring process.
Work with hiring managers to define exact staffing needs.
Plan out the entire interview and selection process (screening calls, in‑person interviews, and assessments).
Ensure job descriptions properly convey company needs.
Organize company branding initiatives.
Organize participation in job fairs and attend them.
Organize other types of recruitment events (job open houses, in‑house hiring fairs, etc.).
Ensure positions are closed on time.
Create appropriate reports and graphics to control activities.

Responsibilities

work with people managers end‑to‑end on performance management and support employee relations investigations, provide expert guidance and support to managers who have identified low performance, ensuring employees are managed fairly and effectively.
Support the talent management processes through partnership with the hrbps in the tech organization (including talent reviews, promotions, and role changes), developing toolkits and communications that help managers to be self‑sufficient with talent practices.
Provide advice on queries related to understanding and communicating compensation, consulting with compensation consultant where needed.
Maintain the fair and consistent treatment of employees by conducting investigations and disciplinaries where complaints or misconduct arise, excluding cases that relate to harassment and discrimination.
Review and consult with legal on local policies and processes specific to the mexico region to ensure they are fit for purpose and compliant with local labour legislation.
Support hrbps with collection and analysis of the organisational health and employee engagement data (exit interviews, engagement discussions, performance and er data).
Consult and coach managers on people matters that require in‑depth knowledge of policies, procedures and local legislation.
Run regular reports, update monthly scorecards and track team progress towards the talent goals and metrics.
Coordinate with coes to improve hr process, and serve as the major poc of process implementation, as well as partner with hrbps on the automation of processes where possible.

Basic qualifications

bachelor's degree in human resources.
3+ years of human resources experience.
3+ years of experience in a corporate environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication (english and spanish).

Preferred qualifications

business and hr acumen, including strong problem‑solving skills, high judgment, critical thinking and analysis.
Strong communication skills.
Drive recommendations and prioritization.
Project management and execution skills.
Coaching and consulting skills.
Thrives in a high‑pressure environment and able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities.
Preferred: experience working with large tech / software engineering teams (300+ employees).
