We are seeking a talented mid-level 2d production artist to join the art team. This role focuses on creating high-quality 2d production assets for mobile games, primarily props and items, with occasional work on environments and splash art. The ideal candidate is a skilled renderer who thrives in a structured daily production pipeline and can deliver polished, game-ready assets consistently.
key responsibilities
* render high-quality 2d production assets (primarily props and items) based on briefs and sketches, bringing them to a production-ready level.
* create occasional environment art and splash art pieces as needed.
* maintain visual consistency across all assets, ensuring alignment with the established art style and quality standards.
* apply strong skills in color theory, lighting, rendering, and perspective to deliver polished, professional assets.
* iterate on work based on feedback from the lead artist and art director, incorporating revisions efficiently.
* collaborate closely with the lead artist and art director within a structured daily production pipeline.
* adapt to new workflows, including ai-assisted processes and evolving production methodologies.
* meet production deadlines and maintain a consistent output in a fast-paced game development environment.
required qualifications
* 2+ years of relevant professional experience in 2d art production (game industry preferred).
* strong portfolio showcasing high-quality 2d rendered assets (props, items, environments, and/or characters).
* proficiency in adobe photoshop (primary tool for production work).
* demonstrated experience working in a production environment with established pipelines and deadlines.
* excellent written and spoken english (mandatory for daily communication with the team).
* strong understanding of color theory, lighting, rendering techniques, and perspective.
* ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
* self‑motivated with strong time‑management skills and ability to work independently.
preferred qualifications (nice to have)
* experience in mobile game art production specifically.
* familiarity with casual game art styles (disney‑inspired, stylized, vibrant aesthetics).
* experience with ai‑assisted art workflows and tools.
* knowledge of additional 2d tools (procreate, clip studio paint, illustrator).

* understanding of mobile game ui/ux and how assets support gameplay.
