At grupo vidanta, we are looking for a performance medicine therapist to provide comprehensive medical care to our artists, ensuring their physical well-being, injury prevention, and optimal performance within a world-class artistic environment.position objectiveto deliver specialized medical care to artists, including emergency medical management, injury rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and preventive care, while ensuring daily performance medicine support in a professional stage environment.key responsibilities- provide high-level physical assessments, clinical care, rehabilitation, and emergency response aligned with the functional demands of artists.- deliver timely and safe emergency medical care and actively participate in emergency preparedness protocols.- maintain close communication with the lead therapist, artistic director, trainers, and stage management regarding artists' functional status.- collaborate in the development and implementation of injury prevention and conditioning programs.- accurately document and manage medical information in compliance with medico-legal requirements and confidentiality standards.- accompany artists to medical appointments when required and manage insurance and related documentation.- manage medical and emergency supplies inventory and maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.- comply with all agreements established between cirque du soleil / vidanta and relevant authorities or medical institutions.requirementseducation:- bachelor's degree in physiotherapy / physical therapy or certification in athletic therapy / athletic training.- valid cpr / aed certification.- postgraduate studies or additional certifications in manual therapy, exercise progression, and emergency care are highly desirable.experience:- minimum 4 years of experience in sports or athletic musculoskeletal clinical care (preferably field or event coverage).- experience evaluating movement, musculoskeletal function, and establishing differential diagnoses in physiotherapy.key skills & knowledge:- emergency medical management skills.- strong knowledge of strength and conditioning principles.- analytical thinking, decision-making ability, and high ethical standards.- excellent communication and teamwork skills.- experience in theatrical, live performance, or show environments is a strong plus.languages- fully bilingual: english and spanishlocation & availability- willingness to relocate and reside in quintana roowhy join grupo vidanta?You will be part of a high-performance, world-class artistic environment, collaborating with international talent and directly contributing to the health, safety, and performance of artists in live productions.
