what you'll be doing
1. design, develop, test, and implement complex processes for applications like oracle, cloud services, and other custom applications in production and development environments.
2. analyze solution design, build, and maintain technical specifications, interface specifications, and systems design based on business/functional requirements.
3. work closely with stakeholders to design and document solutions that align with business needs and are consistent with architectural vision. Communicate project status and coordinate it improvements.
4. partner with functional and business teams to identify, architect, and deliver critical projects leveraging the latest technologies.
5. oversee technical deliverables through the software development life cycle, validating estimates, quality, and accuracy of designs, and implementation plans.
6. customize and develop interfaces, reports, and extensions to support business requirements.
7. support the design, creation, and maintenance of integrations between internal and external sources within it applications.
8. research new and existing products, procedures, and processes within it to identify opportunities for adopting new technologies.
9. enforce development guidelines and best practices to improve products, services, or processes.
10. identify, document, and support risks and potential failures, driving resolution.
11. coordinate with different client application teams for their requirements to provide a common interface.
12. participate in system-level and user acceptance testing, comparing actual results with expected results.
13. provide end-user support, resolve incidents, and troubleshoot application and business process issues.
14. coordinate with business users and external vendors/partners to maintain it systems, including oracle applications and export compliance applications.
15. provide solutions to complex problems to achieve business outcomes and recommend it system improvements for operational efficiency.
16. perform other duties as assigned, such as projects and enhancements.
17. serve as a resource for best practices and guide others in resolving complex issues.
18. lead project teams and train junior staff if needed.
19. work independently or in teams as required.
what we’re looking for
* 4-year degree in information systems, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* 8-10 years of experience, with at least 5 years as an oracle developer using sql, pl/sql, reports, xml, xsds.
* strong knowledge of oracle technologies, sql, pl/sql, and performance tuning.
* experience developing interfaces, reports, extensions, and custom applications on erp systems.
* understanding of erp and database architecture, especially oracle erp applications.
* knowledge of software engineering best practices, sdlc, coding standards, version control, testing, and operations.
* experience supporting large development projects and troubleshooting production issues.
* familiarity with b2b processes, web methods, apis, and web services.
* ability to plan, organize, and support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
preferred qualifications
* experience in electronics, manufacturing, or distribution industries.
* experience with oracle ebs r12, azure, and web methods.
work arrangement
* hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote
