Key responsibilities
* provide onsite technical support for factory floor systems, including pcs, hmis, printers, scanners, and industrial devices.
* troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network connectivity, hardware failures, and software malfunctions.
* maintain and monitor production-critical systems, including mes (manufacturing execution systems), erp terminals, and barcode systems.
* support windows-based environments, active directory, and user account provisioning.
* collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure it compliance with safety and production standards.
* perform routine maintenance and updates on factory it assets, including firmware and software patches.
* document incidents, resolutions, and asset changes in the itsm system (e.g., servicenow, jira).
* assist with it onboarding for factory personnel and provide training on basic tech tools.
* participate in disaster recovery planning, backup procedures, and system audits.
* escalate complex issues to regional or corporate it teams when needed.
