as a field specialist i - als, you will be responsible for:
- performing installation/pulling of complex electrical submersible pump (esp) systems and associated equipment in offshore and onshore oil and water wells
- monitoring, trouble shoots and tests downhole esp equipment including downhole
- monitoring tools in order to maximize well productivity and esp run life.
- assisting with the set up and start up of centrilift motor controllers and vsd's.
- the position involves frequent travel on domestic or international assignments and time away from home, often at short notice.
- handling special projects, as assigned.
- conducting all business activities in accordance with baker hughes hse policies, legal compliance requirements and baker hughes core values.

to be successful in this role you will:
- have a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering
- have 1 year experience and industry experience and product line training required.
