We handle bookkeeping, taxes, and financial strategy for self-employed creators, freelancers, and small business owners — so they can focus on building. *about the role*

we're looking for a customer success manager to own the client experience at otto ai. You'll be the primary point of contact for a growing portfolio of creator clients — helping them navigate their finances, stay on top of their taxes, and get the most out of the otto platform. This role requires someone who is highly organized, communicates with clarity, and genuinely enjoys helping people.

*non-negotiables*

before applying, please confirm you meet all of the following:

- time commitment: minimum 60 hours per week
- availability: must be available for meetings between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm pacific time
- internet speed: minimum 100 mbps download / 20 mbps upload
- home office: dedicated workspace with dual monitors, clear background, and quiet environment
- equipment: working laptop or computer with a functioning webcam

*key responsibilities*
- serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of creator clients
- onboard new clients and guide them through the otto platform
- proactively communicate tax deadlines, financial updates, and action items
- translate complex financial concepts into clear, simple language for non-finance clients
- coordinate with the internal bookkeeping and tax team to resolve client issues
- track client health, flag at-risk accounts, and drive retention

*performance expectations*
- 25 active clients managed within the first 30 days
- 50 active clients managed within the first 60 days

*qualifications*
- 2+ years in a customer-facing or client success role
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- comfort explaining financial concepts to non-finance audiences
- proficiency with: slack, zoom, gmail, excel, stripe
- familiarity with ai tools: claude, chatgpt, gemini
- highly organized with strong follow-through
