reporting to the quality manager, you as a quality engineer, process will be responsible for ensuring product quality requirements are met in your assigned areas. You will lead problem-solving efforts, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support high-performance manufacturing through robust quality systems and practices.
about the job:
* develop, implement, and maintain quality plans, including control plans and inspection plans.
* coordinate problem-solving processes, documenting and following up on ncrs and 8ds.
* lead quality improvement projects based on process performance and data analysis.
* evaluate and select measurement systems used in production and inspection to ensure accuracy.
* validate process changes before implementation to maintain product and process integrity.
* stop production or assembly when nonconforming products are identified.
* hold shipments of suspect products.
* accept or reject products with subjective defects.
* initiate corrective actions to resolve nonconformities.

about you:
* technical or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
* minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
* practical knowledge of problem-solving methodologies.
* proficiency in automotive quality tools: apqp, ppap, msa, spc, fmea, and control plans.
* familiarity with basic quality tools (pareto, ishikawa) and advanced statistical techniques (confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, anova, doe).
* understanding of iso 9001 and iatf 16949 standards.
* experience conducting audits and interpreting customer-specific requirements.
* strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
* detail-oriented, analytical, and quality-focused.
