base salary: $25,000 monthly, and bonus range: $8,000 - $10,000 (based on the position's kpis)

fastenal mexico is looking to develop and deploy a new global sourcing team, this is a globally focused opportunity which will support the whole of fastenal company. We are seeking motivated individuals looking for long-term success.
responsibilities:
the duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
identifying new suppliers and manufacturers
exploring market conditions for a wide variety of product
communicating with the branches throughout the world to support global sourcing of highvolume, critical items
establishing procurement of products, communicating with vendors, optimizing sourcing strategy
integrating collected data into our vrm
working closely with our fastco asia team as well as the global sourcing team
conducting inventory and quality analysis in a just-in-time environment
managing and driving a culture of excellence in customer service and high process-quality
communicating daily in english
required position qualifications:
the following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o possess a current full valid driver's
o possess or are working towards a degree in business/marketing or have related industry experience and knowledge of the local market
o experience with technical sourcing/supply chain
o willingness to travel throughout mexico to support new factory opportunities
o excellent written and oral communication skills
o proficient computer skills
o demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
o exhibit strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell
o highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
