Responsibilities
- develop and maintain test plans and documentation for automated systems
- execute functional, non-functional, regression, and acceptance testing
- participate actively in agile (safe) methodology processes
- manage defects and risks throughout the testing phase
- conduct and analyze results from automation and performance tests
- oversee the creation of detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
- collaborate with the development team to ensure alignment between test environments and production
- monitor testing progress and provide feedback to project stakeholders
- enhance existing testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency
- mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best testing practices
*requirements*:
- bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field
- minimum of 5 years experience as an automation tester
- at least one year of leadership and team management experience
- strong expertise in qa analysis, test estimation, and test case design
- proficient in backend testing, including testing windows services
- solid skills in api testing utilizing tools like postman
- in-depth knowledge and experience with sql for database testing
- proficient in using testrail or similar test management software
- experience with log and error analysis tools such as elk and sentry
- familiarity with network debugging tools like fiddler
- proficient in ci/cd tools like teamcity and octopus for deployment and integration
- strong understanding of agile methodologies with a focus on continuous testing
- capable of conducting root cause analysis and managing risks in software testing
- fluent english at a b2 level or higher
nice to have
- experience with microsoft azure and azure devops for cloud-based testing solutions
- proficiency in cross-platform testing to ensure software compatibility across different systems
- knowledge of security testing practices to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities
- ability to perform usability testing to enhance user experience
