Overview
we are looking for a highly motivated production engineer chassis for our team here in queretaro.
the chassis engineer is responsible for dismantling and referencing the parts/systems that make up the front and rear axles, steering system, and braking mechanism. They also perform detailed dismantling and study parts.
responsibilities
* cut and disassemble front and rear axles, steering system, and brakes mechanism parts with power tools, hand tools, and plasma cutter, maintaining the structural integrity of the pieces.
* upload product data into the website accurately.
* photograph and identify the material of each component, as well as types of connections, welds, and mechanical fastenings.
* coordinate the scan of reference scans during teardown of the vehicle.
* prepare systems and parts for cutting.
* separate data with software for complete vehicles, systems, and parts previously scanned.
* model mechanical connections between different systems or parts.
* work closely with other departments and team leaders.
requirements
professional background
* bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or related field.
* knowledge of automotive parts.
* experience with it tools, hand tools, power tools, metrology tools, and workshop tools.
* experience in teardown of parts and systems.
* intermediate photoshop, office, packing.
* intermediate english.
skills and abilities
* knowledge about welding and connection types.
* knowledge of manual welding and plasma cutting.
* able to lift components weighing up to 50 lbs.
* able to operate computer/laptop/scanner/camera.
* ability to clearly transmit information, exchange, actively listen, receive information and messages, and be open-minded.
