Te connectivity's continuous improvement teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.
*responsibilities*:
- development of the hermosillo industrial plant strategic teoa deployment plans consistent with business unit /region strategic and operational planning
- support and mentor teoa practitioners / kaizen facilitators / engineering and sustaining teams to enable them tosucceed in the teoa deployment
- coordination all the areas in order to achieve consistency and standardization across the facility
- certify teoa practitioners to a standard where they can competently train others in all of the teoa tools
- develop skill levels of practitioners and other site personnel in order to implement and sustain teoa
- monitor progress against plans and achievement of continuous improvement and progression to higher starassessment levels
- monitor and report site level measurements and performance within business unit to star assessment levels
- facilitate the value stream project teams, develop value stream maps and execute the teoa implementation planfor specifi c value streams to achieve the relevant plant level teoa metrics and goals while ensuring alignment tothe business unit strategy
- create, plan, lead and follow-up of the teoa implementation plan and ensure teoa actions are visual tostakeholders and are driven to a sustainable closure
- facilitate teoa kaizen events throughout the operation
- accountability and responsibility for predicted savings and track, validate and post to the fi nancial operatingresults in alignment with the corporate standard and timescale
- develop a close working relationship with the operations team to ensure all training materials are used in aconsistent way while ensuring the business unit receives enough support and allocation of time
- pro-active involvement and participation in the monthly operations meetings, ensuring that relevant informationthat the teams require is cascaded down to all team members
- provide leadership on lean thinking, lean processing and lean production
- replicates examples of excellence across operations and communicates this to other teoa practitioners withinbusiness unit
*what your background should look like*:
- *5+ years* of professional *experience *with focus on *manufacturing operations*, logistics, industrial engineering and finance knowledge. Bachelor's degree required
- *2+ years* of *experience *as* teoa/lean* practitioner and demonstrated evidence of sustained, successful lean activities within specific value streams
- previous experience in leading continuous improvement activities at multiple value stream level preferred
- previous hands-on and practical experience in using value stream mapping and implementing teoa tools. Has led lean events with proven results in at least the following areas: 5s+1, visual factory, standard work, quickchangeover and tpm essential
- excellent communication and coaching skills at all levels from the shop floor to top management
- strong team leader
- ability to think strategically and execute tactically to deliver results
- demonstrated project management skills
- fluent in both spoken and written *english*:
- working knowledge of the manufacturing processes used by the organization
- working knowledge of organization and company transactional processes
- adept at recognizing the most appropriate qualitative tools for the project and utilizing them to meet defined goals
