Financial analyst – manufacturing and production industry

a leading company in the railway sector is looking for a financial analyst with solid experience in industries such as manufacturing, metal-mechanics, automotive, or leasing to join the financial planning team focused on analysis, process optimization, and constant communication with the corporate office in the united states.
requirements:
* university degree in accounting, finance, or related fields (mandatory)
* over 3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and planning in industrial sectors
* advanced english (spoken and written) – required for reports, presentations, and contact with the u.s. corporate office
* advanced excel skills – handling large data volumes, financial modeling, complex formulas, and pivot tables
* knowledge of us gaap; experience with lease accounting (asc 842) is a plus
* experience with tools such as onestream, microsoft d365, power bi is desirable
* technical tests in excel and english are part of the selection process
main responsibilities:
* prepare and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term plans
* develop robust financial models that support strategic decision-making
* perform detailed variance, trend, and financial performance analyses
* monitor key financial kpis, identifying areas for improvement and risks
* prepare executive reports and presentations in english for the corporate office
* analyze contractual documentation (sales orders, lease contracts) and their financial impact
* ensure accuracy in planning operational and administrative expenses with department leaders
* collaborate with areas such as production and operations to accurately reflect the impact on financial results
* maintain financial data quality and promote improvements in reporting systems and tools
* support special projects, audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and automation of financial processes
* ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable accounting standards
