About The Studio:

The Studio, a Sigma Alimentos and IDEO collaboration, we focus on human-centered

design and food innovation, while we’re based in Monterrey, we work with

Sigma’s offices in Europe, Latin America and the United States. As a unique initiative,

The Studio combines the expertise of IDEO and Sigma to co-create consumer-centric

products, services, brands and experiences.

About the job:

We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our interdisciplinary team in bringing bold ideas to life through visual storytelling, brand expression, and design systems. This role will lead a workstream focused on visual communication, and the translation of strategy into compelling tangible design concepts.

It’s a unique opportunity to shape purposeful brands and experiences while growing as a leader in design thinking and food innovation.

Main activities:

- Lead the visual development of brand identities and storytelling across print, digital, packaging, and environmental applications.
- Translate strategy and research insights into meaningful visual concepts and design systems with strong craft application.
- Synthesize ideas with other and understand when to diverge or converge during collaborative design phases.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design presentations, prototypes, and final deliverables.
- Manage multiple project timelines, support project leads, document and contribute as needed.
- Actively engage to internal learning, mentorship, and studio-wide initiatives.
- Share inspiration, explore creative possibilities, and contribute to a culture of inclusive, feedback-driven collaboration.

Qualifications / Experience:

- 3–5+ years of experience in visual communication or graphic design.
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent experience.
- Strong branding (storytelling and creative expressions) and design skills (layout, color, typography).
- Expertise in creation of brand identity and visual design systems, logo & publication iconography, illustration, advertising and marketing campaigns, exhibition design, packaging, marketing collateral.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills (written and verbal).
- A mindset grounded in curiosity, feedback, collaboration and ownership.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Portafolio is a must.
