Position summary
we are seeking a passionate, strategic, and self-starting support director to build the public presence and manage the communications of the university of deliverance.
this role is a hybrid of marketing, public relations, and laureate support. Your primary objective is to find and engage with potential laureates, build the university's reputation for integrity, and clearly communicate its unique social-funding model. You are not just promoting a university; you are building a new legacy of honor that directly funds a vital global mission.
key responsibilities
1. Promotion & marketing (the primary need)
* develop and execute a multi-channel digital marketing strategy to build awareness and establish the university's legitimacy.
* craft compelling narratives and content (articles, social media posts, videos) that tell the story of our laureates and, crucially, the "why" behind our model.
* clearly and powerfully articulate the connection between the ceremonial diploma and the funding of origin-1 civil peacekeeping.
* identify and target audiences (academics, activists, independent scholars, public intellectuals) who would value this form of recognition.
2. Communications & public relations
* act as the primary public-facing contact for the university.
* manage the brand's voice, ensuring all communications reflect our core principles of veritas, libertas, unitas..
* conduct outreach to like-minded podcasts, publications, and organizations to share the university's mission.
* manage the "charter for ethical autonomy" and its associated seal, using it as a cornerstone of our public trust.
3. Laureate support (the "support" function)
* manage the end-to-end communication process with all nominees and newly selected laureates.
* formally congratulate new laureates, explaining the award process and the options for receiving the free digital pdf versus the paid ceremonial package.
* handle all inquiries with professionalism and grace, ensuring every laureate feels honored and respected.
* gather testimonials and build a "council of laureates" community.
4. Administrative & strategic
* manage the logistics of the ceremonial diploma (liaising with vendors for printing, framing, seals, and shipping).
* track key metrics (e.g., public engagement, number of laureates, conversion rate on ceremonial packages) and report on them to the chancellor.
* continuously refine the marketing and support processes as the university grows.
ideal candidate qualifications
* proven experience in digital marketing, communications, or public relations, preferably for a non-profit, academic, or mission-driven organization.
* exceptional storytelling skills. You must be able to write compelling, dignified, and persuasive prose.
* a deep, personal alignment with the missions of both the university of deliverance and origin-1 civil peacekeeping.
* the ability to work with a high degree of independence, autonomy, and integrity.
* experience with e-commerce platforms and logistics is a significant plus.
* passionate about building new models and challenging traditional structures.
