key responsibilities
- plan and deliver engaging science lessons across chemistry, physics, and biology

requirements / skills
- bachelor’s degree (minimum)
- 2+ years of experience teaching science—biology, chemistry, and physics at the secondary level
- teaching qualification or certification (preferred)
- proven experience teaching science at secondary level
- ability to teach across multiple science disciplines
- strong laboratory management and safety knowledge
- experience in bilingual or international school settings (desirable)
- excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- advanced english proficiency (required)
- teaching credential/license
- tesl/tefl certificate over 100 hours or tesl/tefl diploma level
- native english speaker
- letters of recommendation (minimum 3) and a clean criminal record
- availability for 20 to 30 teaching hours per week, plus 10 hours for duties, planning, staff meetings, professional development, and school events. Daily schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., monday through friday. One day per month dedicated to professional development. Requirement to work within shared housing if applicable. School year: august 29, 2023 to july 14, 2024.
