The role combines problem-solving, technical know-how, and strong communication skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.*what you'll be doing:* provide technical support for qualcomm-based platforms, focusing on embedded linux, android, and wireless integration.* assist customers with board bring-up, image flashing (linux and android), system configuration, and debugging software/hardware interaction issues.* replicate customer environments to troubleshoot issues related to boot, connectivity, drivers, multimedia, and application behavior.* support wi-fi and bluetooth integration across linux and android environments.* debug system-level issues using tools such as serial console, dmesg, logcat, adb, and network analyzers.* assist in bsp customization, yocto builds, android image builds, and system optimization.* support multimedia use cases including camera integration, audio streaming, and video pipelines.* collaborate with qualcomm faes and internal engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and issue resolution.* create structured technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and internal knowledge base materials.* contribute to cross-functional initiatives, supporting other embedded linux or wireless-based projects.* participate in technical workshops, customer trainings, and internal enablement sessions.* act as a technical-business bridge between qualcomm, faes, and customers, aligning technical solutions with strategic opportunities.* support opportunity acceleration by enabling pocs, demos, and technical validation.* proactively identify customer expansion opportunities and collaborate with sales teams to drive engagement.* contribute to supplier engagement strategies, helping position qualcomm technologies within targeted market segments.* translate complex technical capabilities into clear value propositions for internal and external stakeholders.*what we are looking for:* bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.* 3+ years of experience in embedded systems development on linux and/or android platforms.* experience with embedded linux, including yocto project, bsp customization, kernel configuration, and device tree modification.* hands-on experience with android bsps (aosp), including image flashing, system debugging, and use of adb and fastboot tools.* experience working with bootloaders (u-boot), boot sequence analysis, and board bring-up.* ability to debug kernel logs, android logcat, driver issues, and system-level failures.* solid understanding of wireless technologies including wi-fi and bluetooth (classic and ble), including configuration, pairing, and troubleshooting.* understanding of networking fundamentals (tcp/ip, ssh, routing, connectivity debugging).* experience integrating and debugging multimedia pipelines (gstreamer, v4l2, camera subsystems, audio frameworks).* proficiency in c or c++ for embedded environments and python/bash for scripting and automation.* experience using git for version control and collaborative workflows.* familiarity with serial debugging tools, jtag, and hardware-level troubleshooting.* experience with qualcomm platforms (dragonwing (nice to have), voice & music socs) is highly desirable.* understanding of ai/edge processing pipelines (npu, dsp integration) is a plus.* ability to interact confidently with field apps engineers, and suppliers in customer-facing scenarios.* strong communication and presentation skills, both technical and strategic.* proactive mindset with ownership mentality, capable of driving initiatives beyond pure technical execution.* ability to balance deep technical troubleshooting with broader commercial objectives.*what's in it for you:*at arrow, we recognize that financial rewards and great benefits are important aspects of an ideal job.
