*summary*
partners with business and process systems analysts and technical leads to define the technical requirements, principles, andmodels that guide solution decisions within the enterprise reference architecture for a particular domain or ecosystem
*duties and responsibilities*
- determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems and develops recommendations of how to proceed with the infrastructure design
- evaluates existing or proposed systems and business requirements to develop solutions and technologies to solve the business need within the enterprise reference architecture.
- coordinates architecture implementation and modification activities. Assists in post-implementation and continuous-improvement efforts to enhance performance and provide increased functionality. Ensures the conceptual completeness of the technical solution.
- analyzes the current architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements. Identifies, and when necessary, proposes variances to the enterprise reference architecture to accommodate project or business requirements.
- provides strategic consultation to business partners and it teams. Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits, system impacts, and technology priorities.
- interacts and interfaces with support partners to ensure solutions are architected correctly. Occasionally works with support partners to resolve major issues.
- works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysisand design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and it strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards.
- makes recommendations towards the development of new wcs code or reuse of existing code. Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations.
- has leadership experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
- provide tier 3 support and work closely with peers and support teams to troubleshoot and remediate production incidents and issues related to ecommerce platform.
*minimum qualifications*:
- typically, a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years progressively responsible professional experience in function or master’s degree with 3-6 years experience.
- 2+ years of experience in retail space.
- demonstrated expertise with javascript, node.js, next.js., react/angular.
- strong technical leadership, written and verbal communication skills are required.
- experience with atlassian tools including jira, confluence and bitbucket in fast paced agile scrum environment required
