*what will the work look like for me?

we are currently seeking administrative & operations support team member to join our team.
this role supports the daily administrative and operational needs of daktronics mexico's manufacturing operations.
the position works closely with the hr generalist and maintains a dotted-line relationship with the plant manager.
key responsibilities include:
- support the plant manager by scheduling meetings, coordinating meeting logistics, preparing dashboards and materials for tier iv and other operational meetings.
- provide factory and operations support by assisting with routings, pre-build coordination with u.s. scheduling teams, work order releases, printing, assembly documentation, and rescheduling activities.
- support production and planning activities by monitoring past due work orders, open issues, transfer orders, lead times, mrp reports, and purging closed work orders.
- prepare, verify, and maintain operational reports including sales order date verification, preliminary sales order reports, and other production-related reporting.
- maintain accurate data capture and reporting using microsoft excel.
- support timekeeping activities including employee timesheets.
- provide human resources administrative support including interview and prescreen scheduling, onboarding coordination, orientation and benefits sessions, preparation of onboarding kits, and internal policy acknowledgements.
- maintain employee records by scanning, filing, uploading, and retrieving documentation as needed.
- process employee data changes, internal change forms, and support day-to-day employee hr questions.
- assist with terminated employee processes including checklist completion, collection of company property, and access management (badges / key cards).
- support audits and internal compliance activities as required.
- coordinate employee support services including lunches, transportation, safety equipment and shoe orders.
- support sourcing and purchasing activities including new vendor requests, basic purchase order follow-up, and ordering office and plant supplies.

qualifications:
*to be considered for administrative & operations support, we require the following*:
- bachelor's degree required.
degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- previous experience in administrative, operations, or plant support roles preferred.
- strong proficiency in microsoft office programs, especially excel.
- ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
- strong organizational and time management skills.
- ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
- ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
- fluent in english and spanish, written and verbal.
- applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
