As a procurement buyer i here at honeywell, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement and purchasing activities within our organization. This role is essential in ensuring efficient procurement processes, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals.
you will report directly to our procurement manager and you’ll work out of our monterrey, mexico location on an on-site work schedule.
in this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain by assisting in supplier selection, purchase order processing, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support business operations.
1. assist in the procurement process including supplier identification, purchase order creation, and follow-up to ensure timely delivery.
2. support cost control initiatives by monitoring procurement costs and seeking opportunities for savings.
3. maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
you must have
4. experience in procurement or purchasing activities.
5. knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
6. familiarity with procurement software and tools.
7. ability to manage purchase orders and supplier communications effectively.
8. advanced excel level
nice to have
9. bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
10. 1-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
11. strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
12. ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
