senior construction and decarbonization project manager
we are seeking a full-time, driven, and enthusiastic senior project manager to join our mexico-based team. The role involves performing comprehensive decarbonization projects at major office and industrial locations. We make what matters real.
responsibilities:
1. manage real estate construction and fit-out projects, including office and light industrial buildings, as well as decarbonization initiatives from start to finish.
2. ensure implementation of siemens guidelines emphasizing sustainability, digitalization, and safety on-site.
3. oversee project execution to meet quality, time, and cost targets, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
4. report regularly on project status and progress to management and relevant programs.
5. optimize technical solutions for decarbonization, focusing on energy supply, efficiency, heat generation, and distribution, including heat pump technology and on-site power generation.
6. build and lead project teams, coordinating internal and external stakeholders respectfully and effectively.
7. establish and maintain relationships with all project stakeholders.
8. drive digitalization and innovation, seeking creative solutions to improve projects and processes.
9. utilize standardized project management tools for monitoring and documentation.
10. lead and motivate project teams, resolving conflicts and fostering collaboration.
your profile:
* degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or equivalent; or 10+ years of experience as a construction project manager. Additional minors in mechanical or electrical engineering are desirable.
* knowledge of heat supply technologies, cooling, air conditioning, and building automation is preferred.
* experience with building codes, planning, and construction contracts is essential.
* familiarity with cenace and cfe standards for medium and high voltage projects.
* willingness to travel within mexico, central america, and possibly other countries in the americas (30-50% travel).
* positive attitude, team-oriented, and communicative.
* experience in an international, multicultural environment is advantageous.
* motivated, eager to learn and adapt, with an affinity for innovation.
* structured work approach and good time management skills.
* fluent in spanish and english.
