role responsibilities
* support the hse manager for health and hygiene aspects.
* provide expert advice on health and safety risks and controls.
* interface with non-hse disciplines and external organizations.
duties & responsibilities
1. anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control health hazards.
2. identify medical response plans and treatment for occupational injuries/illness.
3. consult with the medical director for emergency transport or medical treatment.
4. establish, monitor, and report health performance indicators.
5. perform as international ops super user for cority.
6. facilitate timely identification and payment of vendors and service contractors related to occupational health and hygiene.
7. assess, treat, and case manage occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
8. liaise with third-party contractors for medical care and adherence to approved procedures.
skills & qualifications
* experience in occupational health, hygiene, injury management, medical assessment, and risk assessment techniques.
* effective communication and interpersonal skills throughout all levels of the organization.
* understanding of recordkeeping and classification of injury/illness cases.
* drug and alcohol testing certification.
* occupational hearing conservationist (caohc) certification.
* ergonomics assessor training.
requirements
* occupational medicine experience or background including case management.
* valid registered nurse licensure.
