oma is currently looking for a head of hospitality business (f/m).
reporting to the cco, the head of hospitality business is accountable for setting and implementing oma’s strategy for hospitality. The department includes the management of the 13 oma premium lounges at 11 airports of the group, the leadership of oma as an investor partner in 2 hotels projects and the development of new hotel opportunities.
the ideal candidate should be able to optimize vip lounges operations, improve efficiency, maximize revenues and ebitda margin, increase market share, develop the customer experience, implement process digitalization, manage efficiently the teams, follow and improve internal operations processes, comply with all the safety rules and f&b hygiene standards, lead new vip developments, and build excellent relationships with all the business unit stakeholders.
more precisely, the head of hospitality business will be responsible for :
* develop and implement strategic plans, incl. revenue, capex and opex improvements
* analyze market trends and customer preferences to adjust business strategies.
* oversee daily operations to ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
* implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* implement the inventory control system and continue the centralized purchasing program.
* design and implement a standardized food and beverage menu adaptable per region.
* manage budgets and financial performance to optimize incomes and ebitda margin.
* prepare regular reports based on kpi’s.
* analyze data to inform decision-making and strategic adjustments.
* develop and implement the customer experience model to enhance the guest experience.
* collect and analyze guest feedback to continuously improve services.
* lead the development of new vip projects, from concept to execution
* lead the design project for the new image of the vip lounges (vip 2.0).
* build and maintain relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
* negotiate contracts and agreements with commercial partners and service providers.
* identify opportunities for innovation in service delivery and technology integration.
* develop an innovative oma premium services portfolio that includes vip lounges, fast track and other potential services
hotels
* manage and coordinate oma as an investor partner in the nh hotel at terminal 2 and the hilton garden inn at mty airport.
* identify, evaluate and develop new hotel businesses at oma airports through partnerships with investors and operators’ jv.
the profile we are looking for :
* with demonstrable experience (5+ years) and capability to lead the operations and develop commercial hospitality unit. A similar role in the hospitality industry is a plus.
* experience in a hotel or hospitality leadership role of a comparably sized organization.
* effective communicator within the company, and with external stakeholders.
* able to develop and implement strategic plans to deliver sustainable profitable growth.
* experience delivering comparable front-line operation (customer experience, process efficiency, cost control, f&b operations, premium services, risk mgmt.)
* detailed understanding of project evaluation and hotel development.
* able to engage, motivate and inspire teams to deliver results for the business
* proven experience of continuous process improvement, operations efficiency
* able to lead the project development of new vip lounges, hotels and premium airport business.
* a full understanding of the competitive landscape and industry development and trends that could affect oma, as well as the ability to identify risks and challenges, which could degrade operations and results is essential.
