the successful candidate will be accountable for crafting a culture of refined service, authentic mexican hospitality, and transformative guest journeys. They will inspire, mentor, and develop a leadership team that embodies our luxury ethos and commitment to personalized guest service.
key responsibilities include:
* lead all aspects of the pre-opening and launch, including talent acquisition, operational systems, service culture, and positioning strategy.
* inspire, mentor, and develop a leadership team that embodies our luxury ethos and commitment to personalized guest service.
* establish the resort as a market leader in punta de mita, leveraging sales, revenue, and marketing strategies to capture market share and outperform the comp set.
* build strong, collaborative relationships with local community leaders and global brand partners.
* oversee operations across rooms, f&b, spa/wellness, events, and recreation with a focus on seamless integration and uncompromising service.
the ideal candidate will possess:
* a minimum 5 years' experience as general manager of a luxury resort (ultra-luxury strongly preferred).
* previous experience in mexico required; deep knowledge of regional culture, luxury clientele, and market positioning.
* bilingual fluency in spanish & english.
* strong financial acumen and p&l management experience (10+ years).
