We are currently seeking an International IT Helpdesk Field Technician who is looking for significant professional growth and long-term stability within a globally recognized company—one of our Top Partners in Utah, United States.
Rocketship LT is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) International IT Helpdesk Field Technician to join our global technology team. This is a hands-on and strategic role focused on supporting employees in our Mexico office while closely collaborating with IT staff in the United States and other regions.
You will serve as the first line of IT support, handling day-to-day technical issues, setting up and maintaining equipment, assisting new employees, and ensuring smooth operations for both local and global initiatives. Beyond daily helpdesk tasks, you will also contribute to key projects such as office expansions, new technology deployments, and infrastructure upgrades.
This position is ideal for a motivated technician seeking to enhance technical skills, grow professionally, and participate in projects with international impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the on-site first responder for all IT issues, escalating complex cases to U.S. headquarters when needed.
- Resolve helpdesk tickets (Jira), perform password resets, troubleshoot devices, and configure user accounts.
- Set up and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, phones, and peripherals.
- Configure email, OneDrive, SharePoint, call center tools, and Active Directory user profiles.
- Provide support for Microsoft 365, Citrix, and other business-critical applications.
- Install, upgrade, repair, image, and encrypt laptops and other hardware.
- Maintain backups, antivirus, and compliance standards.
- Support office network infrastructure (wireless access points, switches, firewalls, routers).
- Perform regular preventive maintenance.
- Train new users and assist with IT project translations for headquarters.
- Participate in international IT deployments and regular operations calls.
- Track and recover IT assets from terminated employees.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Language: Bilingual English/Spanish (mandatory).
- Valid U.S. Visa and current passport (mandatory).
- Must live near the office area: Benito Juárez, Tlalpan, Coyoacán, or Álvaro Obregón.
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service attitude.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
- Proactive, organized, punctual, and highly reliable.
- Absolute integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Schedule flexibility and willingness to be on-site.
- Prior IT support or field technician experience (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with Windows/macOS environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Jira (preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
Initial Contract (First 3 Months)
- Salary: MXN $20,000 gross monthly.

- Conversion to permanent contract.
