this role is responsible for creating, operating and maintaining product configurations within the americas region.

about this role
this specialist will be part of a team environment where they will create and maintain product model data through project assignments and sustaining requests.
the successful candidate will have experience with sap variant configuration (lo-vc) design and implementation. They should possess excellent communication skills, being able to interface professionally with cross-functional teams.
strong analytical skills are required, as well as the ability to work with large datasets and perform data analysis, data cleansing and extract/transform/load (etl) methodologies.
familiarity with ms office and specifically ms excel or power bi is essential, including working with pivot tables, lookup formulas and power queries.
responsibilities
1. develop vc objects such as dependencies, variant tables, price conditions, constraints, knowledge base, classes, boms, routings and profiles.
2. test, transport ale/pdr and document change management.
3. troubleshoot and resolve product configuration issues in sales orders, production orders and front-end upstream processes.
requirements
* bachelor's degree in a relevant business or technical discipline preferred.
* experience with sap variant configuration (lo-vc) design and implementation.
* excellent communicator, able to interface professionally with cross-functional teams.
* strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* ability to work effectively in a team environment.
