Job purpose responsible for collecting, validating, consolidating, and reporting financial information. Evaluates the company’s operating results in terms of costs, budgets, and trends in order to advise management and provide information on profitability and performance related to plant effectiveness. Oversees the maintenance of accounting records and the preparation of financial reports, in addition to acting as an advanced user who understands the details and procedures of accounting systems. Key responsibilities oversee and evaluate cost accounting, budget controls, and forecasting. Oversee and consolidate the budget and long‑range plan. Oversee and consolidate the monthly forecast. Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports. Provide support during corporate earnings calls. Supervise and monitor reporting in os (one stream) for actuals, forecasts, budgets, and lrp. Review quotes in the global quote system (gqs). Provide financial support and advice to all departments regarding cost‑saving initiatives and other projects. Prepare and conduct physical inventory counts in collaboration with materials. Monitor and prepare special requests from whq & ptc. Prepare and review the payroll for forecasting and budgeting purposes. Ensure compliance with internal controls in comptrollership activities. Ensure the comptrollership department’s support for activities related to internal and external audits. Develop members of the comptroller’s department to enhance the talent pool for the department and the plant. Oversee the preparation and execution of the annual physical inventory in conjunction with the materials and logistics team. Comply with the environmental management system’s matrix of responsibilities and authorities. What we’re looking for education: certified public accountant (cpa) or bachelor’s degree in financial management; cpa or cma certification; master’s degree preferred. Years of experience in a similar role: 5 years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility in controlling. Required technical knowledge: costing, budgeting, financial accounting, auditing, microsoft office, sap, erp systems, financial reporting standards. Knowledge of the sap 4/hana fico erp system. Other requirements: ethics and values, sound decision‑making, problem‑solving. English required: conversational / business.
