platform engineer is an integral part of data analytics team, reporting into data & analytics platform lead. Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented cloud solutions engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on the design, development, implementation and operations of ms azure solutions. You will play a critical role in running and optimizing cloud applications with a strong emphasis on security, compliance, risk remediation, disaster recovery, and infrastructure development. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on azure expertise and a passion for automation, helping to streamline operations and eliminate manual processes for efficient, scalable cloud solutions.

* develop and maintain automation and deployment processes to enable and improve developer experience and efficiency.

* generate and analyze performance reports and recommend improvements.

* implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the platform is performing at its best and identify areas for improvement.

what we look for
* bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
* azure certifications such as azure administrator associate, azure devops engineer expert, or similar.
* 8 plus years of experience with platform administration, at least 5 years with bigdata and cloud technologies.
* minimum of 2 years with implementation and operational support of snowflake platform or with its complementary technologies: azure data factory (adf), azure sql data warehouse (sqldw), azure data lake storage (adls), blob storage, sql database, apache databricks, azure synapse analytics
* proficiency with azure cloud services and management.
* experience with ci/cd tools like azure devops, jenkins, etc.
* familiarity with iac tools such as terraform, arm templates, or similar.
* strong scripting skills in languages like bash, powershell, or python.
* understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
