3. serve as the primary point of contact for equipment acquisition by determining plant needs and actively supporting with market know-how, strategies, and negotiation.
this includes leading savings initiatives and projects, supporting sustainable strategies for the procurement of various capital goods, and managing reporting and database systems.
requirements
1. background in engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or related fields.
2. soft skills: negotiation skills, strategic thinking, effective communication.
3. technical skills: minimum 3 years of project management experience, strong knowledge of equipment/process operations, sap experience in purchasing modules, contract creation for project awarding, claim management, and supplier development.
