W-Industries is an energy service company that specializes in Automation Solutions, I&E Construction Services, Power Generation and Packaged Equipment for the Energy and Industrial markets. Our expertise encompasses the full spectrum of system technologies from pneumatic - hydraulic control systems to state-of-the-art programmable solutions to chemical injection systems, and everything in-between.
This position supports and at time leads the electrical design of the manufacturing and operation of company equipment as well as providing technical support between manufacturing, engineering, and field operations. Duties include project support for new and ongoing applications. Familiarity with electrical control panel design, testing and inspection is required. Familiarity with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming is preferred but not necessary. Knowledge of either NEC and/or IEC standards is required. Familiarity with cable tray systems and conduit systems for skid integration and design is required.

Requirements
* Leads all electrical engineering and design related activities for individual projects with design review support from a Sr. Engineer or Engineering Manager.
* Supports project documentation such as Factory Acceptance Test, Operation Manual, Maintenance Manual and Field Commissioning Procedures with the corresponding project Mechanical Engineer.
* Verifies engineering and design elements of purchased electrical equipment for the individual projects.
* Reviews and analyzes electrical drawings to determine root causes of non-conformities.
* Supports NEC and/or IEC inspections for skid and panel assemblies with training provided by the Engineering Manager and arranged 3rd parties.
* Leads field commissioning activities with an experienced team of service technicians for skid packages or integrated systems.
Education & Experience
* Minimum 3-7 years of related experience, preferably in Industrial Control Panels or Oil & Gas
* Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
* Industrial Control Panel design and inspection experience.
* Knowledge of NEC and/or IEC codes for Industrial Control Panels.
