molex is seeking an experienced project manager to join our team at the guadalajara sur location. This role requires a passionate individual capable of coordinating projects and launching products effectively and efficiently. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a department manager role, although this position currently involves no direct reports.
key responsibilities:
* coordinate and lead project activities focusing on product launches.
* engage with international stakeholders, ensuring all communications are executed in advanced english.
* negotiate with suppliers and clients to achieve project objectives.
* travel domestically and internationally (20-30% per year) to support project needs.
* report to plant management on quality, materials, and planning activities.
educational requirements:
bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, product or project management, or mechatronics.
experience requirements:
a minimum of 3 years in project coordination, product launches, or related areas.
soft skills:
* strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse personnel.
* proven leadership capabilities, including mentorship and coaching.
* excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
* strong negotiation skills.
technical skills:
* proficiency in microsoft office and project.
* knowledge of sap is considered a plus.
language and travel requirements:
* advanced proficiency in english is a must since all communications are with international partners.
* must possess a valid visa and passport.
