you will
* lead high-impact analytics initiatives with the product team to develop and execute data-driven experiments and a/b tests, focusing on ugc initiatives.
* drive the analytics roadmap with in-depth analysis of user behavior, conversion rates, and content performance to identify growth opportunities and inform product optimization strategies.
* influence direction through actionable insights and recommendations to key stakeholders based on statistical analysis and data interpretation.
* mentor junior analysts and elevate team maturity, including developing and maintaining advanced dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track and communicate kpis and performance metrics.
* partner with stakeholders to define and track kpis to drive ugc strategy.
* work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate data collection and instrumentation, providing guidance on tracking implementation and data integrity.
* collaborate with the data engineering team to refine and enhance data infrastructure and architecture to support advanced analytics and reporting capabilities.
* stay informed about the latest trends in metrics development and analytics tools to continuously improve measurement.
you have
* 7+ years of experience in product analytics, preferably in a high-velocity product environment, with a track record of delivering impactful insights and driving growth.
* 2+ years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives including designing data pipelines, scalable experimentation systems, or metric frameworks.
* strong knowledge of statistical analysis methods, experimental design, and hypothesis testing.
* expert experience with a/b testing methodologies, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, and other advanced analytics techniques.
* strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as tableau, looker, or similar tools to create compelling dashboards and reports.
* expertise in programming languages such as python or r, as well as expert proficiency in sql for data extraction and manipulation.
* self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* excellent stakeholder influence, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
* strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* bachelor\'s degree in a quantitative field; a master\'s degree is a plus.
compensation and benefits
at scribd, your base pay is part of your total compensation, with ranges based on location and level. In california, the range is approximately $141,500 to $221,000. Outside california, ranges are approximately $117,000 to $210,000. In canada, ranges are approximately c$148,500 to c$196,500. This position is eligible for equity and a comprehensive benefits package.
