jointhe team as our next cae engineer!
simulate components andsubsystems of automotive safety devices, such as airbags, steeringwheels, seat belts and pedestrian protection devices, through theapplication of tools as finite element analysis (fea) and othertypes of analytical calculations.
responsibilities: • constructionof fea models following the requirements of the automotiveindustry.
verification of model quality from careful inspection andcorrection of models.
• interpretation of automotive safety testingstandards.
• identification of modeling flaws and implementation ofchanges that allow improving the numerical models until theexpected results are obtained.
• interpretation and adequatepresentation of the results in order to offer conclusions thatallow internal clients to make decisions in their developmentprojects.
• provide high value feedback to product engineers, project managers, process engineers and other colleagues througheffective reports and presentations.
• development and improvementof simulation methodologies that speed up the delivery time andimprove the quality of the results.
•previous experience in feaprocedures, through the execution of analysis projects in anindustrial sector.
• model preprocessing in hypermesh, meshworks,ls-prepost and primer.
• knowledge of the fea process flow usingoptistruct/radioss or any other commercial finite element packagesuch as abaqus, ansys and nastran for the solution of non-linearstatic problems.
• knowledge of the fea process flow usingls-prepost and ls-dyna.
requirements: • mechanical, mechatronics, aeronautical, civil engineering or any other area related tocomputational mechanics.
• 3+ years of proven experience in feaprocedures, through the execution of projects in some industrialsector.
• communication skills, oral and written, of technicalresults.
• advanced english language desirable features: • modelpreprocessing in hypermesh, meshworks, ls-prepost and primer.
•knowledge of fea process flow using optistruct/radioss or any otherpackage commercial finite elements such as abaqus, ansys andnastran for problem solving non-linear statics.
• knowledge of feaprocess flow using ls-prepost and ls-dyna.
