the role
we’re looking for a standout creative strategist based in mexico city to join our team on a full-time 6 months contract. You’ll play a key role in supporting spotify’s advertising efforts in mexico and across latam—helping shape creative solutions that bring together culture, storytelling, and digital media.
you’ll act as a strategic consultant and creative expert, crafting compelling ideas and campaign concepts that align spotify’s ad offerings with advertiser goals. This is a remote full time role for 6 months.
what you'll do
* translate advertiser briefs into original, insight-driven creative proposals for spotify’s mexican market
* develop compelling storytelling frameworks, ad concepts, and presentation decks to support spotify’s commercial efforts
* participate in brainstorms and live "office hours" sessions to ideate and pitch on the spot
* present concepts and ideas to clients and spotify sales teams with clarity, creativity, and virtually and occasionally in-person.
* act as a creative partner to agencies and brands, guiding them on how to best activate with spotify’s ad products and content ecosystem
* stay attuned to cultural trends, audience behaviors, and digital innovations to inform fresh ideas
* transition sold ideas from pitch to production, supporting the handover to our project management team
* surface opportunities for proactive pitches, high-impact moments, and net new ideas that drive incremental value for spotify and its clients.
* ability to leverage ai creatively to help our creative strategy team solve internal and external challenges with our brand partners
* become a key contributor to the americas creative strategy team joining weekly team meetings and helping spotify develop the future of creativity on the platform
what you bring
* 7+ years of experience in creative strategy, content marketing, or brand storytelling within a creative agency, media platform, or publisher
* fluency in both spanish and english
* strong grasp of advertising and branded content in digital, audio, and social platforms
* a strategic mind, capable of bridging brand needs with spotify-first creative possibilities
* passion for storytelling, culture, music, and connecting brands with audiences in meaningful ways
* experience creating and presenting decks that make complex ideas feel simple and sellable
* excellent communication, copywriting, and visual storytelling skills
* ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities, with autonomy and initiative
* proficiency in google workspace, keynote or powerpoint; basic adobe suite skills a plus
* collaborative energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and love for working in a remote-first, cross-cultural team
