Location: nuevo león, mexico modality: 100% on-site quality engineer - assembly the quality engineer will report to quality manager and is responsible for improving and sustaining our quality performance to world-class levels. You achieve success in partnering with cross-functional stakeholders description/responsibility drive quality improvement initiatives and kpi performance to achieve world-class manufacturing standards. Ensure proper deployment and use of quality tools; coordinate training with site management and local teams. Manage quality data collection and reporting to support daily, weekly, and monthly performance indicators. Lead cross-functional quality projects, fostering a strong problem-solving culture and operational excellence. Collaborate with purchasing, supplier quality, and engineering to manage supplier issues, containment actions, and field quality risks. Support iso 9001 / qms compliance and participate in cross-functional initiatives, workshops, and assigned quality projects. Skills/qualifications proven record of quality improvement initiatives required; in manufacturing environment preferred. Experience in assembly processes and assembly product manufacturing, including plastic and metal-mechanical components. Experience managing dashboards, information systems, and quality or operational kpis. Experience working with dimensional data or dimensional dashboards (e.g., fast response). Excellent written and oral communication skills in english, with strong presentation skills. Ability to communicate respectfully, efficiently, and effectively within a multi-cultural and international environment.
