supports general mills export business by providing an interface between export customers, sales force, operations, and other functional areas regarding order process, status, product availability, pricing, sales policies, and all facets related to order end-to-end management. Responds to customer inquiries and resolves concerns.
accountabilities
customer management
processes all export orders; ensures all documents related to the order end-to-end take place. Works with customers to build container load effectively, collaborates with distribution centers and transportation teams to facilitate delivery of units, loading, shipment, as well as ensure vessel sail dates are met. Coordinates with the export compliance team to prepare international shipment documents to meet export regulatory requirements. Monitors orders to ensure the delivery requirement meets customer requests.
continuous improvement
actively pursues improvements – costs, quality & service – for the overall customer service process by exploring every opportunity available from changes in legislation, regulation, and transportation.
required skills/experiences
1. customer service experience and export skills required
2. experienced in microsoft outlook, word, excel, afo and sharepoint.
3. sap order to cash experience a must
4. english - advanced
5. freight forwarding experience and/or customs broker experience desirable
