Android Developer – Guadalajara (Hybrid)
Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco
We are looking for an Android developer with 5-7 years of experience with proficiency in: Kotlin and Java; Android SDK, Jetpack components, and Android architecture best practices; architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, MVI); REST APIs, JSON, and mobile networking; modern UI/UX principles and pixel-perfect designs; development tools (Git, Gradle, Android Studio); unit and UI testing (JUnit, Espresso); Play Store submission, versioning, and release management; English communication (B2+).
Daily Activities :
- Use Android SDK and architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation) to build scalable apps.
- Implement modern UI components, layouts, and animations.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and JSON; manage data and network communication.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define features.
- Use Git, Gradle, and Android Studio for development and builds.
- Conduct unit and UI testing (JUnit, Espresso).
- Manage app releases, versioning, and Google Play submission guidelines.
