The continuous improvement leader is essential to drive lean transformation at dauch automotive. This role ensures processes are improved with efficiency, reliability, and quality, while supporting teams in solving problems and preventing errors. By leading lean projects and building structured systems, the position helps the company operate smarter, reduce waste, and strengthen long‑term performance.
key activities & responsibilities
lean deployment & continuous improvement
* support and execute lean transformation initiatives across the site.
* lead root‑cause analyses and develop solutions to reduce process errors.
* implement and improve manufacturing methods and standardized processes.
* identify opportunities for continuous improvement within daily operations.
problem solving & systems improvement
* assist in troubleshooting system and process issues.
* build tools and methods to minimize recurring errors.
* recommend improvements to procedures based on hands‑on experience.
project management & reporting
* support project leaders with planning, tracking and reporting deliverables.
* prepare agendas, presentations, and project documentation.
* ensure lean projects are executed with rigor, accuracy, and alignment to strategy.
collaboration & influence
* actively participate in internal and external networks of ideas, teams, and technologies.
* build positive relationships to support improvement initiatives.
* communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and support change management.
skills & qualifications
education
* bachelor's degree or equivalent level.
experience
* 3 to 6 years of experience in lean, ci, manufacturing processes, or similar roles.
technical skills
* action planning and project management.
* data collection, analysis, and reporting.
* strong verbal communication and stakeholder engagement.
* ability to plan, organize, and prioritize improvement activities.
* teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
